Employment Training services
Our Employment training Include:
CPR/AED: is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.
First Aid: is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first aid emergencies. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in First Aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
Basic Life Support training (BLS): reinforces healthcare professionals’ understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, basic steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, and using an AED; and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival.
DODD initial and Annual training:Completing this program satisfies the department-provided training requirements for first-time and Current DSPs
DODD Medication Administration Certification: Cert 1, 2, and 3( initials and renewals). Medication administration training and certification developed by DODD authorizes caregivers to perform a variety of tasks for people with many different medical conditions
Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistants (CDCA) Phase I/ Phase II Training
This course schedule is specifically designed to provide forty (40) hours of chemical dependency specific education. These 40 educational hours meet State requirements in the eight content areas. If you already have a Phase I CDCA, Phase II requires 30 hours within thirteen months of receiving your CDCA.Course page
